Kirby Comparison

Here, we have my old Kirby Dual Sanitronic 80, next to Kirby from the Brave Little Toaster. I believe that the 80 is probably the vacuum that inspired the animators at Disney to create this character. The 80 was the only Kirby model to ever come in the color green, and the new dual speed motor allowed a higher rate of suction to be used for external attachments. 
The time period that the Dual Sanitronic 80 was produced is appropriate for the movie as well, these models were made from 1967 through 1969. The Master would have just been a toddler when his parents purchased the Kirby, and by the time the movie came out in 1987, it was implied that The Master had graduated high school that same year. So, if The Master graduated in 1987, this would mean he was born in 1968! 

Anyway, this is just something I observed. I love my Kirby Dual Sanitronic 80, they just don't make vacuums like this anymore, it's heavy, loud, and obnoxious, but sure gets the job done! You can really see the similarities between both vacuums here.
